THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LINCOLN HAS ISSUED A WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS
EVENING TO 9 AM CST THURSDAY.

* TIMING...LIGHT SNOW WILL BEGIN EARLY THIS EVENING. OCCASIONAL
PERIODS OF MODERATE SNOW WILL BE POSSIBLE LATE TONIGHT BEFORE
THE SNOW DIMINISHES MID- MORNING THURSDAY.

* ACCUMULATIONS...THREE TO FIVE INCHES BY 9 AM THURSDAY CAN BE
EXPECTED NORTH OF INTERSTATE 70 WITH TWO TO FOUR INCHES EXPECTED
SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 70.

* WIND...NORTHWEST WINDS OF 10 TO 15 MPH THIS EVENING WILL SHIFT
TO THE NORTH AND INCREASE TO 10 TO 20 MPH LATE TONIGHT.

* IMPACTS...SNOW WILL HAMPER HOLIDAY TRAVEL THIS EVENING AND
TONIGHT. SNOW COVERED ROADS CAN BE EXPECTED FOR THE MORNING
COMMUTE ON THURSDAY.
