The National Weather Service in Gray, Maine has issued a Winter Storm Warning for snow in effect from 4 am Thursday to 10 am Friday. The Winter Storm Watch is no longer in effect.
Wind chill values as low as 10 below zero during the day on Thursday and as low as 20 below zero Thursday night into Friday morning with snow accumulations of 8 to 12 inches. Winds from the northeast from 5 to 15 mph with gusts of up to 20 mph and temperatures from 4 below to 9 above zero.
Impacts: Slippery snow covered roadways and sharply reduced visibilities at times of one half mile or less at times.
