Alburtis Borough has announced a snow emergency in effect at 5pm on 1/2/2014. Vehicles shall be removed from all Snow Emergency Routes. Vehicles may be parked at the Borough Hall parking lot or at the Alburtis Area Community Center (to be removed ASAP after removal of the Snow Emergency).

Also, trash will be picked up on Saturday this week because of the holiday.

Please use extreme caution while driving, leaving enough distance between vehicles. Please carry emergency items in your vehicle, such as blankets, water, food, flashlights, flares, etc.

Extreme cold weather will also be a factor, please if you know somebody that may have issues with the cold weather, please check on them, if help is needed please contact the borough or Alburtis Police Department. If outside, please dress appropriately and do not remain outside long as frostbite and hypothermia can take place quickly.
