THE NWS NAS ISSUED A WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM LATE SATURDAY NIGHT THROUGH LATE SUNDAY NIGHT

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN WILMINGTON HAS ISSUED A WINTER STORM WATCH...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM LATE SATURDAY NIGHT THROUGH LATE SUNDAY NIGHT.

* HAZARD TYPES...SNOW

* ACCUMULATIONS...SNOW ACCUMULATION OF 6 TO 10 INCHES.

* TIMING...SNOW WILL DEVELOP LATE SATURDAY NIGHT...WITH THE HEAVIEST ACCUMULATION EXPECTED DURING THE DAY ON SUNDAY.

* IMPACTS...HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED DUE TO REDUCED VISIBILITIES AND SNOW ACCUMULATIONS.

* WINDS...WEST 10 TO 20 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 30 MPH. THIS WILL CREATE SOME BLOWING SNOW.
