Grain Valley Public Works has been able to treat the Emergency Snow Routes and Secondary roadways as of 8:00am. Due to the rate the snow is coming down, they are now having to clear the Emergency Snow Routes again. Public Works will be working throughout the day clearing roadways.

As a reminder, if you are parked on an Emergency Snow Route during these weather conditions the following is the City of Grain Valley ordinance:
*All vehicles parked on such "Emergency Routes" must be removed within two (2) hours after snow, sleet or freezing rain is causing slippery or hazardous conditions.*

As always, use caution, give plenty of room to Public Works and Emergency Personnel.
