On Sunday, January 5th, 2014, at approximately 1:00 A.M., Cypress Police Officers were dispatched to the 8700 block of Walker Street in regards to a disturbance investigation. Upon the officers’ arrival, they found three adult subjects who were suffering from apparent stab wounds. All three victims were treated at the scene and later transported to a local hospital. All three victims are in stable condition.

The suspect, who was identified as Kassandra Duran (D.O.B. 12/14/1991), was located nearby and after an investigation, was taken into custody without incident. She was placed under arrest for violation of P.C 664/187 – attempted murder and P.C. 245(a)(1)-2 – assault with a deadly weapon. She was transported to the Orange County Jail and is being held on $500,000 bail.
