A Freezing Rain Advisory in effect until 6 am Monday and the Winter Weather Advisory is cancelled.
Freezing rain with ice accumulations of around a tenth of an inch. Freezing rain begins late this evening and changes to rain early Monday morning.
With ground temperatures still very cold from weeks of very cold temperatures, freezing rain will likely cause ice to build up on roads. This will create very slippery driving conditions. Temperatures will be in the 20s and rising into the 30s Monday morning.
A Freezing Rain Advisory means that periods of freezing rain or freezing drizzle will cause travel difficulties so be prepared for slippery roads.
Slow down and use caution while driving, wear your seat belt and do not drive while distracted.
