REMINDER: SNOW EMERGENCY

REMINDER: PARKED VEHICLES MUST BE REMOVED FROM THE ROADWAY BY 1AM SO THAT THE DPW CAN PLOW THE STREETS FROM CURB TO CURB. FAILURE TO REMOVE THE VEHICLE COULD RESULT IN THE VEHICLE BEING TOWED AND/OR TICKETED.

THE CITY WEATHER EMERGENCY


The City of Farmington has declared a “weather emergency.” The declaration is effective __January 5, 2014, at _1:00 p.m._ (time). Parked vehicles must be immediately removed from city streets for the safety and well being of the citizens of the community.

Vehicles parked on city streets may be subject to towing twelve hours after the emergency weather declaration. Any vehicles constituting a hazard; disabled, abandoned or parked in traveled portions of roadways, may be immediately towed.

Residents may resume parking on the street after the road has been plowed from curb to curb.
