Since December 19, 2013, Western District officers have responded to four (4) armed robberies of citizens walking in the 3500 block of Laurel Ft Meade Road, in Laurel. In each incident, the suspect was armed with a black handgun (possibly a revolver) and is described as being 5'09" to 6'0" in his early 20's, wearing a black ski mask and dark clothing. These robberies have occurred at all hours of the day.

As a result, citizens are being advised to be aware of their surroundings while traveling in that area at all times. Additionally, citizens are asked to call 911 immediately if they see anything suspicious.
