Snow removal crews will be working Downtown tonight from approximately 10PM until morning trying to remove as much of the accumulated snow as possible. Residents and businesses are asked to avoid parking on Main starting at 10PM as much as possible to allow the crews access to move the snow from the area. Parking is prohibited from 2AM-6AM, but we are requesting additional assistance from citizens and business owners during the 10PM-2AM period. Crews will remove as much snow as possible overnight tonight. Tolan Street near Main will need to be used to stage snow, therefore may not be passable during the very late/early morning time period of this operation. Ferman Street may be closed during the very late/early morning period of this operation, as well. The FD, EMS, and School District have been notified of the potential temporary Tolan Street and Ferman Street closures.
