2nd of 2 weather alerts - The Flood Watch continues from Saturday afternoon through Sunday

A Flood Watch continues from Saturday afternoon through Sunday evening with rainfall of 1 to 2 inches is expected along with mild temperatures. The heaviest rainfall is likely to fall Saturday afternoon and evening.

The heavy rain may lead to ice jam flooding on rivers as well as urban flooding of roads and underpasses.

Precautionary/preparedness actions

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on current forecasts. You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible flood warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.
