Mayor Amato along with Berkeley OEM and JCP&L are closely monitoring the weather today, Saturday, January 11, 2014. With heavy rain and potential wind gusts in the forecast, residents should be prepared.
Residents should immediately report any downed wires or power outages to JCP&L at 1-888-LIGHTSS(1-888-544-4877) or Berkeley Township Police Department at 732-341-6600.
JCP&L would like to remind residents they should never go near a downed power line. Customers are also reminded to never attempt to remove trees or tree limbs from power lines
