From the Traffic Operations Center:
On the afternoon of Wednesday, January 15, 2004 a traffic accident occurred at the intersection of Carothers Parkway and Cool Springs Boulevard. This accident caused significant damage the traffic signal pole on the southwest corner of the intersection. Until City crews are able to remove and replace the broken traffic signal equipment, southbound lanes on Carothers Parkway will be closed from Cool Springs Boulevard to Crescent Centre Drive. Motorists should use a combination of I-65 and Cool Springs Boulevard or East McEwen Drive as an alternate route in this area. Northbound lanes of Carothers Parkway are unaffected by this incident.
