Full Notification

Today the Placerville Police Department received a call of a robbery that just occurred at the Grocery Outlet on Broadway Drive just after 4 pm. Officers responded to the scene and were advised that a subject had just taken miscellaneous grocery items from the store and was then confronted by a store employee. The suspect punched the employee in the face and fled the scene. K9 Officer Sem and Officer Ron Cannon quickly located the suspect on the hillside east of Dollar Tree. The suspect was identified as 36 year-old Brook Ryan from Placerville. Ryan was later booked at the El Dorado County Jail for PC 211- Strong Arm Robbery.
