Elkhart County – The two females that were killed last night in the shooting at Martins Super Market in Elkhart have been identified by state police and their next of kin have been notified.
The 20 year old female and Martins employee has been identified as Krystle Dikes of Elkhart. State police detectives believe that Dikes was the first to die at the hands of shooter, Shawn W. Bair, 22 also of Elkhart.
The second victim that was killed has been identified as Rachelle Godfread, 44, of Elkhart. It’s believed that Godfread was a patron shopping in the store at the time of the shooting.
At this time police are looking at all leads in an attempt to determine a motive for the shooting. The investigation is ongoing and as new information develops it will be distributed.
*All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
