Full Notification

This notice is to clarify some information disseminated throughout the community regarding a deceased person found on the rail road tracks. On January 15 a deceased individual was found on the RR tracks in the Whaley/Girard area of the Village. A preliminary investigation by EAPD and a subsequent investigation by the Erie County Medical Examiners office showed no signs of foul play, nor indications of a train accident. Tentative cause of death at this time to the 55 YOA female is hypothermia.
