Conspiracy to Manufacture Methamphetamine Arrests

Swanton, VT – 1/16/14 – On January 14, 2014 at approximately 6:30 PM, the Swanton Police Department responded to an altercation between two male residents at 11 Dunning Street, Swanton, VT. They learned that an assault took place between Dustin Hollis, age 25, and Charles Davis, age 45, both of Swanton. Davis was taken into custody and charged with Aggravated Domestic Assault by Swanton Police Department.
The Vermont State Police also arrested both Davis and Hollis from an ongoing investigation and they were charged with Conspiracy to Manufacture Methamphetamine and lodged at the Northwest Correctional Facility. Both subject were arraigned in Franklin Superior Court on January 15 and held for lack of bail on the charges. Davis was held on $30,000 cash bail and Hollis was held on $25,000 cash bail.
The Vermont State Police, Drug Task Force and Clandestine Lab Team executed a search warrant on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at 11 Dunning Street residence and located evidence related to the manufacturing of methamphetamine.
The investigation is continuing and additional arrest may be pending.
