Residents are encouraged to remain off roadways to allow plows to operate and for the safety of all.
Road conditions are slippery already. Public Works personnel are working staggered shifts to allow ongoing plowing operations. Residents are encouraged to not park on roadways to allow for the safe passage of plows and emergency response vehicles.
Residents should be aware that icy conditions are present already with increased risk for falls and crashes. Temperatures with associated wind chills will continue to fall creating more hazardous conditions. Forecasts include wind chills overnight 10 degree below zero. Residents should be mindful of health hazards from cold exposure and exerting stress such as shoveling in these conditions.
