Officers from Western District have responded to multiple burglaries in the past week in the Sherwood Forest community. The majority of the burglaries are believed to be occurring between the hours of 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm, but one has occurred during the overnight hours. The following streets are where the burglaries have occurred:

Friar Tuck Hill
Little John Hill
Thorsby Hill
Nottingham Road

In each incident, the suspect appears to be primarily targeting money and prescription medicines. Entry appears to be made through unlocked doors either in the front of the residences or through unlocked rear sliding doors.

As a reminder, to help discourage criminal activity, homeowners are encouraged to lock all windows and doors if they are going to be away from their residence for any length of time.
