TIMING...WIND CHILLS WILL REMAIN LESS THAN 10 BELOW FOR MUCH OF THE DAY. SNOW WILL DEVELOP LATE THIS EVENING AND CONTINUE OVERNIGHT INTO SATURDAY MORNING. BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW MAY
CONTINUE THROUGH SATURDAY AFTERNOON.
* ACCUMULATIONS...SNOW ACCUMULATION OF 2 TO 4 INCHES.
* WINDS...SOUTHWEST 10 TO 20 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 30 MPH.
* IMPACTS...THE FRIGID CONDITIONS WILL BE DANGEROUS TO THOSE VENTURING OUTSIDE. PROLONGED EXPOSURE MAY CAUSE FROSTBITE. TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP DUE TO REDUCED VISIBILITIES AND SNOW ACCUMULATIONS.

A WIND CHILL ADVISORY IS ISSUED WHEN A STRONG WIND WILL COMBINE WITH COLD TEMPERATURES TO CREATE DANGEROUSLY COLD CONDITIONS FOR EXPOSED SKIN. THE WIND WILL MAKE IT FEEL LIKE IT IS BETWEEN 10 AND 24 DEGREES BELOW ZERO FOR A PERIOD OF SEVERAL HOURS. THOSE PLANNING TO VENTURE OUTDOORS SHOULD USE COMMON SENSE AND DRESS WARMLY...MAKING SURE THAT ALL EXPOSED SKIN IS COVERED.
