No ice in our area is safe to skate or walk on. Please stay off frozen ponds, streams, and rivers. 
Although cold weather has taken over our area for the last few weeks and looks to continue for at least the next 7 days, PLEASE DO NOT attempt to Ice Skate or walk on the frozen ponds, streams, rivers etc. Parents, speak to your children about this. Just a couple of weeks ago, a 10 yr old in Montgomery County died after falling through ice.
We want to avoid this type of tragedy and parental agony. But we need your help! Share with your friends and family and let's keep everyone SAFE!
