On Friday, January 24, 2014 at approximately 5:30 p.m. Warsaw Police culminated several months of investigation on a Warsaw man for dealing in Methamphetamine, after receiving numerous complaints and tips of heavy drug traffic. Narcotics officers went to 1117 W. Winona Avenue in Warsaw and located 54 year old, William Marsillett, and several others at the residence. William Marsillett had Methamphetamine on him and he was taken into custody. A search warrant was executed and officers located finished Methamphetamine product, prescription medications not prescribed to anyone living at the residence, and synthetic drugs.
William Marsillett was transported to the Kosciusko County Jail and initially booked for Possession of Methamphetamine. He was then formally charged over the weekend with Dealing Methamphetamine, a class B felony. He is being held on $200,000 bond.
Several others were arrested and charged with various drug related offenses, or had warrants for their arrest. Additional charges and more arrests are likely.
Warsaw Police was assisted in their investigation by Warsaw Wayne Fire Territory and the Kosciusko County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
Warsaw Police continue to diligently work to reduce the influence of Methamphetamine in our community by being aggressive toward the use, manufacture, and possession of this dangerous drug. Any drug tips can be called into the Warsaw Police Department at 574-372-9540.
