Today, the sheriff's office was made aware of a phone scam involving someone calling from either in a new number or a number starting with 4 16. The caller is stating that your bank account number and last 4 of your social security number is needed because your debit card has been suspended.

remember, no one from the bank would ever call you on the telephone and ask you for your bank account information and the last 4 of your social. This is definitely a scam!
