The Kennesaw Police Department advises everyone to remain at home due to the adverse weather conditions. The snow and ice accumulated on the roadways is very hazardous.

If you absolutely must leave your home, use extreme caution while on the roadways. Speeds should be decreased and extra space given between vehicles to allow safe braking distances. Snow covered roads will also decrease the vehicles ability to grip the road especially during sudden or emergency steering. Drivers could potentially lose control of their vehicles during these conditions. Please use extreme caution and allow extra time to get to your destinations.
