Road Conditions in Kitty Hawk 
As of noon today many roads in Kitty Hawk are still impassable unless you are driving a 4X4 vehicle. US 158 is passable in some areas where NC DOT has begun scraping. However, several 4X4 vehicles have gotten stuck in the snow piles at intersections west of 158. The police department recommends that everyone stay at home unless it is an emergency.
