Local Media Credited for Helping Police Nab Another; Metro Detective put a name to this face after watching the news
Franklin, TN – The suspect featured in this January 22 release has been identified thanks to local media and a Metro Detective.
After seeing surveillance footage of the suspect, released by Franklin Police, Metro Police West Precinct Detective Herb Kajihara quickly recognized him as Andrew Adams, a Nashville shoplifter. Officers arrested Adams following his 01/28/2014 court appearance on an unrelated matter.
Adams, charged with Felony Theft, was released Tuesday on a $2,500 bond. He is scheduled to appear in Williamson County Court on 02/04/2014 at 9:00am.
The power of today’s security cameras combined with police partnerships with traditional media and use of social media leave criminals, like Adams, nowhere to hide.
