77th Street Patrol Officers were in the 1500 Block of 62nd Street, when they observed smoke emitting from the residence. The officers attempted to make contact with the residents with negative results. The officers believed there were people inside of the residence. They ran to the side of the residence, climbed the fence, and were able to alert the residents. 3 occupants were safely escorted out of the home that had been engulfed by the flames. The Los Angeles Fire Department was notified and quickly responded preventing the loss of additional structures.
