On January 30, 2014 at approximately 3:23 a.m., officers responded to a residence in the 1300 block of Cardinal Street after receiving a report of a stabbing.
Officers arrived at the residence and contacted 32-year-old Claudio Velez suffering from a wound to the abdomen. Velez did not cooperate or provide any relevant information to officers; leaving many questions unanswered.
Velez was transported to a Modesto area hospital by ambulance for treatment.
