Announces Arrest For:
Possession w/ Intent to Sell/Deliver Marijuana; Felony Possession of Marijuana; Possession w/ Intent to Sell/Deliver Cocaine; Felony Possession of Cocaine; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; and Misdemeanor Child Abuse
The Southern Pines Police Department announces the following arrests from a joint investigation conducted by the Southern Pines Police Department and the Moore County Sheriff’s Office into suspected narcotics activity. These arrests stem from the execution of a Search Warrant at 190 Tray Street, Southern Pines, North Carolina on February 3, 2014. As a result of this search, 107 grams of suspected marijuana, 11 dosage units of crack cocaine, multiple items of drug paraphernalia, a Hi-Point .40 caliber semi-automatic handgun, and $2,006.00 in United States Currency was seized.
Jamel Alexander Magee, 34 years of age of Southern Pines, North Carolina was arrested and charged with the following offenses:
- Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Marijuana, Felony Possession of Marijuana, Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Cocaine, Felony Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Misdemeanor Child Abuse.
Jamel Alexander Magee appeared before a Moore County Magistrate where he was incarcerated in the Moore County Detention Center under a $5,000 secured bond pending a hearing in Moore County District Court on February 25, 2014.
Jessica Elaine Magee, 33 years of age of Southern Pines, North Carolina was arrested and charged with the following offenses:
- Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Marijuana, Felony Possession of Marijuana, Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Cocaine, Felony Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Misdemeanor Child Abuse.
Jessica Elaine Magee appeared before a Moore County Magistrate where she was released under a $50,000 unsecured bond pending a hearing in Moore County District Court on February 25, 2014.
