Steuben will expire Watch status at noon 
The Steuben County Commissioners in cooperation with the Sheriff, Steuben County Highway and the Steuben County Emergency Management, will expire the Travel Warning Status at noon today (Thursday February 6th) and replace it with a Snow ADVISORY Level for Steuben County. The Advisory will be in effect at 12:00 Noon and remain as indefinite. Once conditions improve updates will be sent out. Please drive slower than normal, give yourself plenty of travel time and plenty of stopping distance between other vehicles and at intersections. Use headlights during the day to aid in visibility. Large snow banks reduce visibility at intersections and driveways. Please be alert for highway snow removal equipment when driving.
Regular media outlets plus the Sheriff Facebook page, www.steubensheriff.com and Nixle text alerts will be used to alert everyone of any updates.
