It appears that temperatures may not reach what was previously forecast for today, which means we probably will not see much melting of the snow and ice on the roadway. The roads are in no condition to be traveled. We strongly suggest that you stay in! If you must get out, please be very mindful of the road conditions and also the dozens of vehicles that are either stuck in the roadway or just off the edge of the road. These vehicles are making the conditions even more treacherous. Slow down, plan extra time for your journey, make sure that you have plenty of gas and supplies in your car to maintain warmth and safety in case you do get stranded or are involved in an accident.
