Weather advisory-- snow anticipated to begin Wed. evening and continue all day Thursday. Forecast is for 6 to 8 inches 
Based on forecasted snow conditions, the River Edge Dept. of Public Works is asking for your cooperation. The snow ordinance will be enforced in the posted areas. We also request that all residents do their best to have all cars removed from the streets in the non-posted areas as well.
Cardboard, papers and magazines scheduled for pick up on Wednesday, February 12th in districts 3,4,&5 will be rescheduled for pickup on Friday, February 14th. Cardboard, papers and magazines scheduled for pick up on Thursday February 13th in districts 6,7 and 8 will be rescheduled for pick up on Monday, February 17.
Fire Department requests that if there is a Fire Hydrant near you that you please clear it of snow so that there is no delay in getting water from the hydrant to the Fire Engine.
In case of Power outages you can call Public Service at 1-877-368-9339 to ensure that they are aware of power being out in your area.
