Mercersburg Snow Emergency Plan in effect for approaching snow storm 
Mercersburg Mayor James C. Zeger has implemented the Borough of Mercersburg’s SNOW EMERGENCY PLAN under Ordinance 1-35
The Plan will be in effect from the beginning of the approaching snow storm on the evening of February 12, 2014, until the snow has been cleared from the following streets and there will be:
NO PARKING ON THE FOLLOWING STREETS AS INDICATED:
NO PARKING ON THE EAST SIDE OF LINDEN AVENUE.
NO PARKING ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF EAST AND WEST SEMINARY STREETS.
NO PARKING ON SOUTH FAYETTE STREET.
Crews will frequently clear the Hitching Post Parking Lot in an effort to provide parking. Individuals not complying with the restrictions of the Snow Emergency Plan could have their vehicles towed away at the owner’s expense and be issued a non-traffic citation for a summary offense that provides for a fine of up to $300.00 plus court costs.
