The Buena Vista Township Public Works department has worked through out the night to clear roadways of snow. Caution should be taken including allowing for extra travel time and not blocking roadways to allow Public Works and Emergency Responders to pass through.
Currently there is slippery conditions under the snow. Sleet and heavy rain with winds around 23 mph and gusts higher. There is possibility of additional snow this evening. With frozen ground, heavy rains, and melting snow flooding is a possibility. This is a very heavy, wet snow and can cause health issues and injuries with shoveling.
Buena Regional School District is opening today however two hours late with no AM preschool.
Buena Vista Township Hall will be closed.
