COMMERCIAL ARMED ROBBERY EDGEWATER

On February 12, 2014, at approximately 9:45 p.m., officers from the Southern District responded to the High’s dairy store located in the 100 block of Central Avenue West in Edgewater fort a report of a commercial armed robbery of the business.

Upon arrival, officers spoke with employees and learned that a male suspect entered the store, displayed a handgun and took money from the cash drawer before fleeing the store on foot westbound on Central Avenue. Patrol officers, and K-9 responded, but the suspect was not located. Anyone with information on this robbery should contact Southern District Detective Brian Wheeler at 410-222-1960.
