Probation Visit Sends Argos Man Back to Jail
Marshall County – On Wednesday Indiana State Troopers from the Bremen Post assisted the Marshall County Probation Department with in home probation visits. These visits are randomly conducted and often unannounced but are a requirement of the subjects probation.
Officers arrived at 115 W. Williams St. in Argos to check on Jeremy Hill, 31. Hill was on probation and also had an active warrant for his arrest. Hill was located at the residence and taken into custody.
Upon further investigation of the house, several meth labs were located along with drug paraphernalia. The home is located within 1000 feet of a public park in Argos. This fact elevates the seriousness of the crime to a class a felony.
Hill was transported to the Marshall County Jail. He was charged with several offenses to include manufacturing methamphetamine within 1000 feet of a park, possession of methamphetamine, possession of precursors, and probation violation.
*All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
