Hit and Run Driver in Teen's Death Sought 
(HOUSTON, TX) – Attached is a photo of 14 year-old Nicole Ruekwe. She was struck and killed by a vehicle earlier this week and investigators need the public’s help in identifying and locating the driver.
On Monday, February 10, 2014, at or about 6:48 p.m., Nicole was crossing Barker Cypress Rd. near the intersection of River Sage when she was struck by a motorist that did not stop and render aid as required.
Nicole was crossing in an area that is without artificial lighting and is very dark. This incident occurred during a heavy rain storm. It also appears that the teen may have been struck by several other vehicles, none of which stopped.
Anyone with information about the suspect's identity in this case and/or location is asked to call Crime Stoppers of Houston at 713-222-TIPS or to submit a tip via the iWatchHarrisCounty phone app.
