Los Angeles- On February 13, 2014, at approximately 10:00 p.m., a fatal hit and run traffic collision occurred on Riverside Drive just south of Fletcher Drive in Northeast Area. The collision occurred when the victim was crossing Riverside Drive and was struck by a vehicle traveling southbound on Riverside Drive. As he was lying on the pavement he was struck by a second vehicle and dragged as short distance. Both drivers left the scene without stopping to identify themselves or rendering aid. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics from LAFD.

One of the involved vehicles is believed to be a black Hyundai or Kia with damage to the left side. The model and year are unknown. There were no witnesses.

The victim has not been identified but described as a male, White, approximately 45 years old. He was wearing dark clothing at the time of the collision.
