CITY OF LEBANON - SNOW REMOVAL

The City of Lebanon continues to cleanup following last week’s snow storm. Private contractors have been engaged to work on the alleys and crews will be removing snow from secondary streets in accordance with the following schedule:

 Wednesday, February 19 – Weidman Street, from Lincoln Avenue to Seventh Street
 Wednesday, February 19 – Canal Street, from Lincoln Avenue to Seventh Street
 Thursday, February 20 – Mifflin Street, from Lincoln Avenue to Fourth Street
 Thursday, February 20 – Guilford Street, from Lincoln Avenue to Seventh Street

In addition, crews are working to ensure the 1,156 storm drains are open in anticipation of the rain and warmer temperatures at the end of the week. Although we recognize it is the city’s responsibility to clear the storm drains, any assistance from residents and/or community volunteers with this task will be greatly appreciated.

Residents are reminded that a path three feet in width, running the entire length of the sidewalk must be cleared from the sidewalk.

Residents are also reminded that in accordance with city ordinances no person shall place any obstruction of any type upon the pavement, sidewalk, curb or gutter which will interfere with the complete and full use at all times for the public of such pavement, sidewalk, curb and gutter.
