STOLEN AUTO ARRESTS LOTHIAN

​On February 23, 2014, at approximately 12:54 p.m., officers from the Southern District responded to the 5900 block of Fishers Station Road in Lothian for a report of a burglary and stolen vehicle.

Upon arrival, officers spoke with the 50-year-old female victim, who advised that she discovered her 2012 Jeep Wrangler was stolen from her garage. On Monday, February 24, 2014, at approximately 2:15 a.m., a Southern District officer was patrolling in the area of Shady Side Road at Shadyrest Road in Shady Side when the officer observed a white Jeep Wrangler that was similar to the vehicle stolen from Fisher Station Road the day before. A further check revealed that the vehicle was reported stolen. The vehicle came to a rest in the 1100 block of Cedar Avenue. Both suspects were ultimately taken into custody and charged with burglary, possession of a stolen vehicle and traffic violations.
