On Monday, 02-24-14, AEPD units responded and took two reports involving "Entering Auto." The two incidents involved the following:
1. Covington Road (50 block), unknown persons sometime over the weekend, entered a vehicle and damaged the ignition. No items were reported as taken or signs of forced entry noted.
2. Covington Highway (commercial-3200 block), 02-24-14, 7:00-7:10AM, persons forcibly (broke window) entered a vehicle and took electronic devices and personal items. The victim's vehicle was in a rear parking lot and left unattended only a short time period.
Investigation continues by AEPD investigations. Anyone having information that may be of assistance in either incident is asked to contact Inv. Tom Gillis at (404) 391-4526.
Please remember to lock vehicles at all times when not in use and to remove any items that may be visible and a temptation to anyone looking into the vehicle.
