Advisory

The Placerville Police Department is continuing the clean up efforts of the illegal camps with community support.

This Sunday, March 2nd, at 10 am, the Placerville Police Department will be following up on last week's outreach operation that left a significant amount of trash along hillsides due to a temporary overwhelming of resources. Since last week's operation, the police department has received significant interest from the community wanting to volunteer to assist in the cleanup effort. If you are interested in volunteering some time and don't mind getting dirty, we could use your help. Please meet at the Placerville Police Department at 730 Main Street, Placerville, at 10 am. We will provide gloves and trash bags. Bring your own water and wear comfortable attire that you don't mind getting dirty.
