Pacoima, Los Angeles: The family of Juan Miranda and the Los Angeles Police Department’s Foothill Division are asking for the public’s help to locate Juan.
On Feb 25 around 5:20 p.m., Foothill Division officers responded to the 13100 block of Paxton Street in the city of Pacoima for a critical missing investigation. The missing juvenile is despondent over the recent death of his grandfather and became involved in a verbal argument with his mother. Following the argument Juan Miranda left the residence and stated he wanted to die or be killed and has not been seen since.
Foothill Division established a command post and is actively searching for Juan. Officers are searching the neighborhood and surrounding area with officers and blood hounds.
Juan Miranda is described as a 13 year-old (dob - 04/05/2000), male Hispanic with black hair and brown eyes. Juan stands 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 140 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray hoody sweat jacket, black shorts, gray tennis shoes, gray baseball cap and has a scar on his right palm.
