As our staff works on finalizing the special event and traffic control plans for Saturday's WG Wildcat Hockey game at Shove Park we are seeking the public's assistance. Due to the accumulated snow and a reduction of available spaces, on-site parking will be limited. We respectfully request that anyone going to the game share a ride with someone else.

In addition, we ask that our fans park as close to the snow banks as possible so there is ample space available at Shove Park and on Slawson Drive to allow immediate, unrestricted access for a WAVES Ambulance and/or Fairmount Fire Department vehicles.

The north side of Slawson Drive will be available for on-street parking. Parking will be restricted on the south side.

The general public will not be allowed to park on the back side of the ice rink as those spaces have been set aside for players, coaches, referees, league officials, press and employees working the event. However, the West Genesee School District will provide overflow parking and a shuttle service from the Fairmount Community Church. The church parking lot is located at the intersection of Whedon Road and West Genesee Street.
