National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Warning for Montgomery County beginning at 11 PM to 11 AM. This notice was given today as of 3 PM.
Monitor the weather as there is still some uncertainty in the forecast. It is likely that precipitation will fall across the area from about midnight tonight through tomorrow morning. The heaviest rain for us should be from 6AM through 9AM. The precipitation should begin to push out towards the east by late morning. It appears that we will begin freezing around midnight and probably won’t get above freezing until about 11AM tomorrow. Expect overpasses to freeze and there could be some surface road icing. The freezing rain may be patchy in some areas. The lowest temperature that we are currently expected to reach is 29 degrees.
Please use caution should you travel during these time frames. If possible remain in doors till the weather subsides. Don't forget about pets.
