ILLINOIS STATEWIDE TORNADO DRILL TODAY!!!

THIS WEEK IS SEVERE WEATHER AWARENESS WEEK FOR ILLINOIS. IT MIGHT STILL BE COLD OUTSIDE...BUT THE WEATHER IN THE MIDWEST CAN CHANGE FAST. VERY SOON WE WILL SEE WARMER TEMPERATURES WITH THE THREAT OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS.

THE ILLINOIS STATEWIDE TORNADO DRILL WILL BE HELD TODAY AT 10:00 AM. ALL NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OFFICES SERVING ILLINOIS WILL
TRANSMIT A TEST TORNADO WARNING. THE WARNING WILL BE CODED AS A REAL WARNING...BUT IT WILL BE CLEARLY MARKED AS A TEST. THERE IS
NO SEVERE WEATHER FORECAST FOR TODAY.

Be sure to test and or replace the batteries in you NOAA weather radio to make sure you are ready for severe weather season.
