On March 4th, 2014 the Nash County Sheriff’s Office arrested three individuals involved in a heroin investigation. Deputy’s seized eight (8) bindles of heroin after stopping a vehicle operated by ASHLEIGH MORGAN of 301 Amos St. Rocky Mount, NC. MORGANS’ passenger, ANTICA LASHAYE HART, were both charged with possession of heroin based on this traffic stop. Investigators then obtained a search warrant for 301 Amos st. Rocky Mount, NC, MORGANS’ residence. During the search of the residence, Investigators seized one hundred and sixty (160) bindles of heroin and an amount of marijuana. Investigators also charged an occupant of the residence during the search, VANITY SHANAY DIXON.
At the time of her arrest, MORGAN was out on bond for a February 19th, 2014 incident where she was found to be in possession of two hundred and forty-nine (249) bindles of heroin.
