6th Arrest Made in Franklin Home Invasion; Pittman arrested by FPD Flex in South Nashville
Franklin, TN – Today, armed with new information provided by anonymous tips, Franklin Police Flex Officers returned to the Prestige Pointe Apartments, 200 Paragon Mills Road, in Nashville. That is where five suspects bailed out of the van that led officers on a pursuit following last Wednesday’s home invasion in Franklin’s Ladd Park Subdivision.
With the complex under surveillance, officers spotted and took Elizabeth Pittman into custody in the parking lot. The 21-year-old, wanted for Criminal Conspiracy, is at Franklin Police Headquarters awaiting transfer to the Williamson County Jail. Pittman is accused of providing specific information about valuables in the victim’s home and his alarm code prior to the home invasion.
“The quick arrests made in this case are a culmination of great police work by officers from several units and agencies,” said Chief David Rahinsky. “We’re strongest when we work together.”
Pittman’s bond has been set at $250,000. Her arraignment is scheduled for Thursday, 03/13/2014 at 1:00 pm. Detectives are still working to identify one remaining suspect who fled from the getaway van following last week’s home invasion.
