Franklin, TN – This morning at 9:05, officers were dispatched to a 3-vehicle injury crash involving a Franklin Transit Authority bus. It happened at the corner of Carothers Parkway and Crescent Centre Drive when an SUV traveling north on Carothers attempted to make a left turn onto Crescent Centre Dr. That driver turned directly into the path of the bus traveling south on Carothers. After being hit by the bus, the SUV then struck a car on Crescent Centre, waiting to turn onto Carothers.
The bus was occupied by the driver and one occupant. The bus driver was the only one injured in this crash; she was transported to the Williamson Medical Center with what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries.
