Sergeant Aaron Vassey has earned the Criminal Investigations Certificate from the NC Justice Academy. Sergeant Vassey completed over 500 hours of criminal justice training in order to qualify for this award. He is the director of law enforcement training for Cleveland Community College in Shelby NC. He holds both a B.S. and M.S. in criminal justice. Sergeant Vassey currently serves as a Reserve Officer for the Spindale Police Department.
